MusicDojo.com is an online music school where sessions between the faculty and the students are held over DigiChat (a third party chat solution from Digichat.com). We have implemented this Chat solution such that it is integrated with the classes being held. Each student enters a 'Room' for that class. Different classes have different 'Rooms'. For Channel sales company for clients such as Borland, Palm (3com), Applix, Inprise etc. The sales are to Companies/ Chains such as Best Buy, Fry’s Electronics, CompUSA, and resellers at University campuses. The information about the products is collected by the Field Sales Representatives(FSRs) all over the country and entered into HTML forms on the Palm PDAs. The validation of the data is done on the palm itself as well as on the server, for separate fields. On ‘Hot sync’ this data is inserted into a central database. This data is subsequently used to write variance reports, Out of stock Alerts and customer Comments and sent to the clients. Also generated a number of ASP/.NET reports off the SQL Server database, using ADO/ADO.NET to retrieve and manipulate data. Some of the sites were secured on the web using Basic Authentication, NT Challenge / Response and SSL.
